Amazonite Goddess Necklace | The creator of this piece says: I made this three-strand necklace with four different shapes of Amazonite Beads. We have Rondelles, tubes, chips and nuggets. And I put some Sea Opal glass chips in because I think these two stones together are beautiful. All findings and spacers are sterling silver as well as the three stranded clasp which is adjustable. And sitting in the center of the longest strand is an Opalite cabachon set in sterling silver. I had an idea in my head for one thing and this particular piece was totally different from what I wanted to do. But it's beautiful just the same. And I still have the other idea in my head for another piece another time. This is how it was meant to come out I guess. |
About the Artist: Mary FierceI started making jewelry about 1 year ago.I wanted to do my part to help raise money to find a cure for Breast Cancer. So I started making Breast Cancer Awareness bracelets and donating a percentage of each sale to a certain foundation. I lost my mom to this dreadful disease in 1998 and then was diagnosed myself in 2002, so it has affected my life in a big way. But then I figured why stop there. So here I am today trying to make a go of it, and loving every minute of it. I really love putting something together and seeing the final piece. View Mary Fierce's website at The Happy Bead 2.
