The frame was made by hand using cold connections. I used 26 gauge sterling wire to secure the hundreds of 2mm – 4mm freshwater pearls and silver beads to the frame adding a 5mm apatite in a herringbone wrap for the eye and finally a coiled mane. A little LOS and a lot of hand polishing later and viola!
