Mykonos Sunrise Bracelet | The creator of this piece says: This is a bold needlewoven bracelet of metallized glass beads with Mykonos discs. Glass triangle and round beads are handsewn in a square stitch in four sections. Between each section is a Mykonos ceramic bead for accent. The beaded loop and clasp makes it look like a continuous band.

I love these greek beads! After being kiln-fired, they are dipped in fine silver and fired again. It gives the bracelet that metal look without the weight. And because the beads are made of ceramic, they have a subtle surface texture unlike regular metal beads.
The triangle beads are with a metallic finish in gold with the barest tints of light pink and green on some beads. All round seed beads are in gold finish.
Bracelet fits comfortably for 6 to 7.5 inch size wrist. Width is 3/5 inch. Coin bead is 5/8 inch diameter.
Very comfortable! The square stitch makes this a very soft and flexible bracelet to wear. |
