Winter Queen Necklace | The creator of this piece says: Made with four 16mm flat rounds, four 12mm flat rounds, four 9x14 flat ovals, and twenty 8mm faceted rondelle larimar blue lace agate stone beads. I also used round opalites and silver toned metal spacer beads and a sterling silver toggle clasp. The pendant is sterling silver with a cubic zirconia stone set in.
| The pendant is a commercial piece that I recycled for this necklace. It is strung on tiger tail beading wire.
The inspiration for this piece was the stones themselves. I was going to just make a bracelet with them at first but then it just kept going! I added the pendant as an after thought. I like it though. I named it "Winter Queen" because of the icy blue tones in the agate and the almost snow-like quality of the opalites. |
