Veronica Drop Earrings
These drop earrings started with the cute sterling silver bead caps. I paired them with the foiled glass purple beads and thought that looked nice. I did some wire work to attach them all together but they were still lacking something. I looked through my beads and found only two of the delicate faceted purple […]
Leopard Skin Jasper Beaded Cabochon
This cabochon is 30mm x 40mm and has beautiful earthtone colors. I used Japanese Delicas and size 15’s to peyote stitch a beaded bezel with minimum embellishments and a peyote stitched bail. The beaded rope is done in a spiral rope stitch using the same beads. I have chosen the colors of the beads to […]
Freshwater And Mother Of Pearl Necklace
I love making unique pieces of jewelry. This necklace consists of a strand of delicate freshwater pearls with briolette shaped mother of pearl beads. The simple clasp and findings are sterling silver. This necklace has a wonderful summer feel to it, like being by the ocean. I think the slightly green tint of the freshwater […]
Turquoise Mist Necklace
This necklace features 3 strands of silver glass seed beads that space a random pattern of turquoise briolettes, turquoise 4mm rounds, and quartz ovals. The clasp is a sterling silver toggle with delicate details. I was inspired by the briolettes when they were still on the strands that I bought them on and they were […]
Victorian Elegance Bracelet
The body of the bracelet is made in odd count peyote in angled stripes of various size 11 delica beads, with the main color being black. All the thread used throughout is Nymo. Then I went back around and created a variable sized picot stitch in black size 15 rocailles with 4 mm and 3 […]
Pearl & Sterling Treasure Necklace
This necklace reminds us of an oyster opening up, full of a pearly treasure! A sterling silver teardrop focal is hammered, textured and formed by hand, then oxidized and polished to bring out the gorgeous pattern. It is accented with peacock colored freshwater pearls, an almond twisted Swarovski pearl, and a single small white jade […]
Violet Embroidered Fantasy Necklace
Bead embroidered cuff and necklace made from rough opals (polished by myself), charoite, amethyst, pearls, swarovski, silver beads, rainbow moonstone beads, purple jade, violet glass beads (roses) and Miyuki Delicas. For the base I used Lacy’s Stiff Stuff and a blank brass collar and cuff. To make this whole set, including polishing the opals, takes […]
Star Of Ice Cuff
I stiched around the rivoli with Delica beads onto Stiff Stuff. Then I worked around with white and crystal silver lined miyuki rocailles. Next I put white drops in between and put them together with tiny silver lined 15/0 rocailles. I glued the Stiff Stuff onto the bracelet and finished the back with ultra suede. […]
Butterfly Brooch
The wings are kept in resin. I glued them onto Stiff Stuff and surrounded them with very small Miyuki Delica beads and rocaille seed beads . The back is finished with dark green Ultrasuede and a brass brooch pin.
Fall Steampunk Collar Necklace
In this lovely necklace, I used clay cabochons with citrine stones in them, Swarovski stones, Miyuki beads, delica, rocaille and bugles and steampunk elements.
Porcelain With Blues Neckace
I love the delicacy of patterns found in porcelain beads. This piece is longer–strung on 6 strands of 20 inches of tiger tail, 3 strands on each side. I wove seed beads in shades of blue, green and gold are together with electric blue glass beads and porcelain beads, (rounds as well as cylindrical beads). […]
Funky Fringe Beadwoven Bracelet
I absolutely love this funky piece! The pattern on the beadwoven part is my own, and I’ve used it in several other bracelets. This bracelet has a slinky & flexable feel to it. It has a button clasp. I used size 11 delica beads in matte white, golden & black. For the fringe I used […]
Ming Tea Necklace
Ming Tea 22″ Necklace and 7 1/2″ braclet take on an ancient age using two imported 900 year old Ming pottery shards delicately framed as the focal beads. I also make 2,000 year old coin jewelry, so found it a treat to find out about the ancient Chinese Ming pottery shards from a artisan friend, […]
Mix and Match Reversible Beaded Necklace
I had a few larger beads and I did not know what to use them for (my necklaces are usually more delicate). One day the inspiration came in a store catalog–the idea of combining one strand of large beads and six strands of small beads. It is wearable top side down or up. It can […]
Grass Koi Necklace
This necklace was made using Beadalon 49 strand flexible wire and was inspired by the idea of the lush green surroundings of a summer pond. The fish pendant is Hill Tribe Thai silver, and the beads are vintage West German Givre glass, Swarovski crystal, Delica seed beads, Czech glass, and celery colored freshwater pearls. The […]
