This pendant uses a 25 x 30mm snowflake obsidian cabochon. It is hand beaded with 1 row silver seed beads, 1/2 row of 2mm onyx beads, bali silver lace tubes going into 24 graduated/alternating rows of black glass triangle seed beads/gunmetal gray seed beads with matte glass black daggers/sterling daggers. Several loops of black seed beads make the bale.
The necklace is comprised of bali lace tube beads/round wire beads, 2mm onyx and snowflake obsidian beads, onyx thin capsule beads, 6mm onyx beads with black seed beads in between.
The clasp is an open loop bali clasp. This is a side closure piece, the clasp is about 3″ under collarbone. Length is 22″. It is hard to say what inspired this piece. As soon as I hold a stone I get a feeling for what it would like to be–sounds crazy right? Well this stone just screamed fringe! I will say it was a time consuming piece, but worth it.
