Bead Embroidery & Seed Beads Jewelry Ideas
This is a grouping of three bead embroidered cuff bracelets created using different types of fabric, leather, suede, glass seed beads, freshwater pearls, glass beads and semi-precious jade chips. I love bead embroidery because it feels like I’m painting with beads.
This embroidery necklace is made with cat-eye cabochons, fresh water pearls, Swarovski crystals, and 11/0, 6/0 seed beads. Covered with leather….no toggle. Attached to a spiral rope necklace. I enjoyed making this necklace and it’s going to be hard to let it go. I love all my pieces but this one is my baby!

The upper part of the necklace is sky blue jade and the fringe is a gathering of freshwater Biwa pearls, glass pearls, Swarovski […]

I started by gluing the white resin rose to the leather, and then embroidered around it with white seed beads, crystals and pearls. I backed the creation with camel-colored leather. The necklace is strung with white beads of stone and resin as well as crystals of different sizes. It is about 20″ long.

I had a beautiful African turquoise cabochon which I had stashed away, waiting for the right moment of creativity to spark. I sewed different semi precious stones around the cabochon, choosing muted tones that would […]
A necklace inspired by Verdi, the Magic Flute. I learned this bead embroidery technique in a book by Heidi Kummli and Sherry Serafini. The cabochon face, was done by me in cold mass of glass, and painted. The materials I used were Miyuki seed beads, Czech bugle beads, pearls, rocailles, and fire-polished beads. Some decoration, […]
