Exotic Beauty Bloodstone Necklace
My grandmother had given me a wooden bead necklace that had crazy safari animals on it along with these cool wooden beads in green and black. I took it apart and began to play with the wooden disks. I had purchased the triangle of bloodstone about a year ago and it was waiting for a […]
Falling Water Shell Necklace
Inspired by a midnight vision of waterfalls falling off of cliffs, this necklace was made with freshwater pearls, sea-green aventurine chips, gold and silver mussel-shell coins, mother-of-pearl cube beads, dark shell beads and a sprinkle of aqua semi-precious gemstone beads to accent. It measures 17″ around and has a toggle clasp. I used two strands […]
Jade And Pearl Necklace
The inspiration for this necklace was the unique focal piece. Wanting to create a necklace that was worthy of it, I added green and white glass pearls, gold spacers and jade gemstones to round this out to a bright and eye-catching necklace. Learn how to make this necklace.
Pamela Coral Necklace
This necklace features red coral coins combined with glass seed beads, mother of pearl chunks, freshwater pearls, banded hematite jasper, and mahogany obsidian. I made it a double strand and added a sterling silver connector to dangle a pendant stone combination. I like the rich combination of textures and colors in this group of stones. […]
Turquoise And Pearl Bracelet
This bracelet is made of tumbled blue turquoise gemstone nuggets, cranberry-colored freshwater cultured pearls and sterling silver beads. To finish this piece I used a lobster clasp and added a turquoise gemstone and silver puffed heart that dangles off the clasp. I really enjoy using unique gemstones in my jewelry designs.

A Mothers Love Necklace
The inspiration for these piece is my mother who sadly passed away at the beginning of this year (2006). I utilized a puffed sterling silver heart as the focal to represent my love for mom. Swarovski crystals in ruby which is my mothers birthstone and the creamy beige pearls which were my mother’s which I […]
Blue Quartz And Blue Opal Multistrand Necklace
For this 3-strand necklace I started with the faceted oval 10x14mm blue opal stones and added cube-shaped blue opals with light turquoise and darker foiled turquoise colored seed beads. The three strands are 18 1/2″, 20 1/2″ and 21″ in length (including the clasp). The clasp is a metal 3-strand hook with little flowers for […]

This piece is a 18 inch choker with two strands closely intertwined. The first strand has tiger’s eye stones and picture jasper beads with the second strand of gold colored seed beads wrapped around the picture jasper beads. Brown glass and copper-tinted spacers are mixed in with the other beads to complete the piece. All […]
Jaffa Necklace
This necklace was inspired by the artisan crafted lampwork beads. The leopard fire agate, fossil coral focal, autumn jasper and bronzite all compliment the colors in the lampwork beads. I strung the necklace on accuflex wire and then finished it with an antique silver hook and eye clasp. The beads and gemstones are separated and […]
Faceted Fire Agate Bracelet
This piece is made with round faceted fire agate beads. The toggle clasp is sterling silver, as are the two end beads. I was inspired by the name of the stone. I started with the lighter agate, went to deep red back to light, like fire’s intensity can be.
Southwestern Three Strand Necklace
This is a 19 inch 3 strand necklace with sodalite beads and brickstone beads with silver spacers. The contrast between the two colors is stark, which I think is part of the appeal. I was aiming for a southwestern look when I designed it, with the silver, reddish-brown, and blue combination. Because the colors are […]
Ms. Suge Sugilite Necklace
This necklace was inspired by the Suge Avery character from the movie, “The Color Purple”. It is made up of several layers of deeply etched brass tubes which reflect the troubled layers her character possessed. The faceted crystal stones, potato pearls, mother of pearl shell beads and amethyst chips creates a halo that enhances the […]
Felicity Necklace
Felicity is made of four strands of magnetic hematite beads, hematite chips, snowflake obsidian chips, moonstone chips, wire wrapped clear quartz beads, and two types of metal beads. All of these are strung and wrapped together to create Felicity. I wanted a piece that was chic, and embodied the icy, winter atmosphere.
Acid Lime Stone Beaded Bracelet
I created this bracelet so that it would add playful color to any outfit. I fed acid lime gem stones onto a doubled bead wire (for strength) and ended the piece with an adjustable chain clasp for extra length as needed. I finished the chain with a beaded dangle to add detail.
Goldstone And Green Anklet
I was thinking of a book from my childhood. It was about this little African boy and his adventures. All the girls in the pictures wore anklets made with beads and large teeth! The long green glass beads reminded me of those teeth and the bright green color evokes a bit of a jungle feel. […]
