Patra’s Strut Egyptian Necklace
I love anything Egyptian. Some of the pieces I design will have a hint or full inspiration of this beautiful civilization. This bib-style necklace took just a little time to make as I did the measurements freehand. I wanted it to lay gradually with the focal point being the etched brass pendants with matte gold […]
Autumn Shells Necklace
This necklace is made of shells, freshwater pearls, brass spacers, and carnelian beads. I finished it with a mermaid toggle clasp.
Collage Pendant With White Crystal Agate Druzy
I started out with the fabulous crystal agate druzy. To get together an interesting mix of complimenting gemstones, I chose different shapes, sizes, colors and textures of Prehnite, amethyst, garnet, apatite, citrine and peridot. The ‘backplate’ is a round shaped grid which offers options to fix the gemstones anywhere you like and is also solid […]
Vintage Locket Necklace
This necklace uses a vintage brass floral locket as a pendant. The locket is wire wrapped to a mix of white freshwater pearls and faceted clear quartz. The stones are then connected to a medium weight gold filled cable chain. The necklace has an adjustable length of 19 to 21 inches, with a keishi pearl […]
Hippy Chick Necklace
I used a Bronze Metal Clay pendant by Summers Studio, lengths of brass chain, and an assortment of Czech glass beads, leaves, and flowers. I wanted to make something airy, fun, and a little playful without it being too girly-girl. It can be worn with jeans and a t-shirt or a blouse and a long, […]
Earthy Delights Necklace
I made this necklace using a ceramic pendant that is handmade by RedCrowArts of Etsy. It is handstamped with a leafy pattern and glazed a beautiful green color. I paired this pendant with gorgeous fancy jasper disc beads, green spotty Czech glass, faceted glass rondelles, and teal blue glass petal beads. On the front of […]
Mountain Mist Necklace
I love being able to use up leftover beads to create a beautiful eclectic piece. I used gold beading wire to string green agate chips, green glass beads of different shapes and sizes, clear Swarovski bicones, and green metallic seed beads. This is one of my favorite brass clasps, so I had to have it […]
Neo-victorian Serpentine And Frosted Glass Necklace
For this necklace I started with a serpentine (new jade) cabochon and put it under a large antique brass hoop. I used a piece of oxidized brass filigree as backing to hold it in place. For accent beads I used a few smaller matching serpentine jade beads and some flat oval beads made of frosted […]
Autumn Spirit Necklace
This was made with recycled vintage materials including vintage glass beads, vintage brass beads, and a focal bead made from a vintage earring. I played with the rhythm on this piece, varying the bead positions. My inspiration was the fall season and all its glory. Recycling vintage materials is a wonderful way to be kind […]
Cherry Blossom Festival Necklace
I was inspired by spring, so I made a 5 strand necklace with pink and green pearls, handmade lampwork beads, Swarovski crystals, Czech glass beads, Aurora Borealis glass leaves, Czech glass gold-veined leaves, antique brass finished leaves, golden dragonflies, cloisonn
Ring Of Fire Necklace
This necklace was a challenge to make! I wanted to incorporate strands of cord in with the beads and was unsure how to fasten them all together neatly. I ended up using a 26 gauge wire to bind the cords together, then I stitched seed beads over the wire with thread so the wire wouldn’t […]
Nesting Bird Necklace
I created this necklace using Vintaj Brass Co. chain. In a few spots around the chain, I attached wire-wrapped red Czech glass beads for accents. The focal I used is a pewter bird bead from Mamacita Beadworks. I used an eye pin, and off the bottom hook, dangled a brass wire nest that I stuffed […]
Goddess Pendant Necklace
This 21″ necklace is made using 16ga copper wire, some really nice matte glass beads, and some African trade beads from Ghana. The 4″ bone goddess hangs between two fluted brass beads. I like this necklace for it’s “earthy” feel. The African trade beads were acquired at a flea market where I came upon a […]
Vintage Garden Necklace
Antiqued gold cable chain and textured rings, amazonite faceted nuggets, bronze potato pearls and aged brass wire are wirewrapped together to form this necklace. An aged brass leaf charm, a turquoise Czech fluted flower with a Picasso finish, and a copper Swarovski crystal bicone dangle from the main ring. I formed and hammered brass wire […]
Green With Envy Necklace
This necklace is one of the most creative pieces that I have made so far. I bought the resin focal bead at my local bead store because I knew the color would be amazing with the Vintaj Brass. I used small brass chain and paired it with a chain made of seed beads in lime, […]
Blue Rain Necklace
I’ve created this necklace using African cream disk trade beads, cream coral beads, and West African lost wax brass beads (basket shape). To add color to this piece I’ve added blue turquoise beads and antique gold Bali style spacers. Completing the necklace is a 22mm oxidized copper ring as the toggle clasp. This necklace measures […]
Salmon Coral White Shell Necklace
I have wire wrapped this vintage style necklace with 5 mm round salmon bamboo coral beads and 8 mm round white shell beads into three strands using copper eye pins. One of the strands overlaps the other two strands. I finished it with a brass lobster claw. The length of the necklace is 18 inches.
Montgomery West Jewelry Set
This set was made using glass beads with a brown and yellow swirled pattern, glass pearls and smokey topaz Swarovski crystals. I made the ‘S’ clasp on both the necklace and the bracelet from 16 gauge brass wire.
