This is a multicolored hemp necklace that uses fishbone knots to gracefully loop and wind their way around the blue floral lampwork beads. The beads end up nestling amongst all of the hemp, looking like stunning flowers in the field. This piece was inspired by the beautiful lampwork beads that were just crying out to […]
Inspired by spring, I created this macrame style bracelet that combines fibers with lampwork beads and Czech glass. The flower beads are attached to the fiber vine through a series of knots.
This is a very simple macrame bracelet hand knotted with a shiny synthetic gold colored cord. the beads are cream colored resin and 8mm honey/amber glass. The knots used are lark’s head and the square knot. It is finished with a loop and bead closure. The closure bead is acrylic. Very easy to make!
Barefoot sandles are a favorite summertime project. These are crocheted with beads added. These are reprinted from Beadwrangler with permission – check out their full instructions to make your own!
For this bracelet I used 4mm Czech glass beads I bought at a bead show, bronze-colored leather and Griffin silk thread. The button used was purchased from a store that was going out of business. The bracelet wraps around the wrist one time. This was my first attempt at making a wrapped bracelet.
This necklace is hand knotted using a shiny gold colored synthetic knotting cord and opaque pale olive green 8mm glass beads. The other beads are orange/pink 6mm glass beads. The knots used are larkshead and the square knot. The necklace has a loop and bead closure and is 16.5″ in length.
This bracelet was fun to make. I received some porcelain beads for Christmas in this Red, Black and White color theme. I dug through my supplies and found many of the little treasures that I put into this piece. I took 3 12″ strands of leather cord, and knotted them around the silver lobster clasp […]
This necklace is knit of cotton with a 2.5 inch pendant. Length is 23 inches. I love to crochet with soft yarns and create lovely shapes to adorn the neck or wrist. This one is crocheted from a #3 Cotton and has a large interesting pendant . I also like to use ties so the […]
For this one I used blue 1mm waxed cord, an evil eye, blue millefiori beads and yellow plastic beads. You can adjust the size by sliding the knots in the back. These anklets are really easy to make, it’s basically just throwing beads on a string and knotting.
I used turquoise waxed cord, millefiori beads, small yellow plastic beads and a turkish blue eye. the closing knot that is around your heel can be adjusted to your foot size. My inspiration for my anklets collection was a French woman who used that style. Then I tried it myself, but with other materials and […]
The design for this piece may seem a little off the wall! I was inspired by these odd looking dyed agate beads I had bought at a gem fair. I wanted to make a bold and dramatic pendant like focal design and work it into a hand knotted pattern. So this is what I came […]
This is a 19″ hemp necklace designed for men (it’s a bit thicker than normal). It contains 6 cowrie shells and a BUNCH of metallic colored plastic beads. I started off with regular square knot and adding the metallic beads. I strung the cowrie shells by adding a jump ring to either end of the […]
