This earring is made of gold tone nontarnishable wire. I started by shaping the wire in a teardrop shape to make petals. I made four petals overlapping each other, creating a flower shape. Then I attached a green stone teardrop to each flower and a gold hook at the top to finish the earrings. Love […]
In Native American, Kokopelli is synonymous with “Source Of Wonder Throughout”. These beaded earrings are made of small size 11/0 seed beads. Small size beads bring up the best pattern details. Earring length is 4 inch including ear wire, and, width is 1 inch. Earrings weight is 10g. Earwire is made of white metal with […]
To create these earrings I started with a sheet of copper. I cut out 2 circles, textured them and used a doming block to give a nice shape. I used a hole punch to create a hole for the wire to go through. The patina is created from ammonia and vinegar. I used 20 gauge […]
First I hammered heavy wire into ear wires. Then I wrapped very thin wire around the ear wires, adding in a Swarovski crystal. Then I wire wrapped the carnelian beads and attached them to the ear wires. I tumble polished the finished earrings and oxidized all the copper wire to achieve the black color. Then […]
To create these earrings I shaped 18 gauge wire into a swirl. Then I hammered the silver to give texture. Then I used a headpin to attach sodalite nugget beads. I attached a closed jump ring to the swirl & used a sterling fishhook earring finding. Sodalite is the stone of endurance.
I wanted to make a pair of fun earrings that would go anywhere…pool or dinner party. I started with the super cute rectangular sterling silver beads and added iridescent faceted black glass beads to the top and bottom. I strung them all together with a piece of Argentine half hard sterling silver wire and attached […]
These beautiful carved mother of pearl flowers needed some color in my eyes. So I have added a chain which I have embellished with fuschia-dyed mother of pearl round beads and olivine-dyed mother of pearl drop beads which I turned upside down to represent leaves. Now I have a pair of beautiful, flirty summer inspired […]
In my jewelry pieces I focus mainly on contemporary styles, so in this piece I tried to give it a modern, different look than the traditional earring. This piece was constructed from silver plated 16 gauge wire giving it a random, trendy shape, then attaching a 10mm purple rondelle bead at the end of the […]
This piece was made with solid copper wire. First the thicker wire for the frame was cut, the ends were heated with a torch to get the little dots. It was then pickled in acid, formed and tumble polished. The amazonite, apatite, Swarovski crystal and copper bead were attached with very thin copper wire. The […]
I made these earrings with Lampwork beads and Swarovski bicones in amethyst, rose alabaster, tanzanite, and jet. Earwires are sterling silver. Earrings are 1 3/4″ in length.
These earrings are crafted from up-cycled leather and fabric. I used stainless steel links to create a chain maille drop. Stainless steel is a hypoallergenic metal and gradually gleams with wear. The black beads are glass. For findings I use leverback hooks which are perfect for stretched ears as they secure tightly.
Yes, I know… the 60’s are over. But some might say that the era represented not just a time but a mindset… and couldn’t we use a little 60’s mindset right now? I know *I* could. I bought these little stamped brass flower charms awhile ago and the first incarnation featured small blackstone rondelles. This […]
I bought these lovely smoky-sparkly golden crystals awhile ago and was at a loss as to what to do with them. Finally deciding not to overthink it, I added oxidized sterling silver findings and oxidized, stylized, sterling silver handcrafted earwires to them and I loved the way they turned out. Sometimes simple is best!
These 10x14mm oval blue quartz beads are faceted to give them some sparkle. Hung from the sterling silver French earwires with a copper headpin and a faceted glass bead gives it a little extra detail. They measure almost 1 3/4″ from top to bottom.
These sterling silver and ruby earrings were made as a part of a set to wear during my wedding. They are made of sterling silver chain and ruby rondelles.
Fall is so full of wonderful rich colors. And as you know I love leaves! So this is my way of capturing those colors in this fall inspired pair of earrings. The leaf charms are antiqued gold color with freshwater pearls in various sizes and rich autumn colors. They dangle from a gold petite chain […]
I designed these simple earrings so they would represent the international color for breast cancer awareness and also coordinate with other “pink” pieces I created to support the Young Survival Coalition. I stacked light pink Swavorski cube crystals accented with brass heishi beads and hot pink fire polished crystals onto gold-plated head pins and dangled […]
These drop earrings started with the cute sterling silver bead caps. I paired them with the foiled glass purple beads and thought that looked nice. I did some wire work to attach them all together but they were still lacking something. I looked through my beads and found only two of the delicate faceted purple […]
These earrings were designed with unique lampwork beads in shades of deep green, black, and brown. The focal beads are combined with jet Swarovski Austrian crystals, jet glass rounds, and sterling silver beads.
