Erin Tokuuke

I've always enjoyed craft work, and have been finding new crafts to learn basically my whole life. I used to do some simple beading with a friend of mine in high school, but we never got too fancy. It wasn't until a few years ago, after I graduated from college and moved back home (to Hawaii) that I actually discovered jewelry making. I started out with earrings, but had so much fun with those that I kept discovering new ways to design jewelry and making new pieces. It got to the point where I didn't have enough room to store everything I'd made, which was why I finally decided to start selling my pieces. I still have a lot of fun with my jewelry making and enjoy finding new inspiration for my pieces.

Amazonite And Spiral Necklace Project

Amazonite And Spiral Necklace

When I found this Amazonite, I noticed how beautiful it looked against sterling silver. I was inspired to make this necklace because I wanted to find a way to make this unusual blue really stand out. The sterling silver spiral was the final touch, adding a little depth and character to the necklace.
