It all started three years ago when an old friend that I had not seen for 10 years looked me up. As we sat reminiscing in his garage, we came upon a box of stones, wire, and beading supplies. His grandpa was an old hippie who loved to travel the country selling his southwest style jewelry. My friend recognized my appreciation for the nostalgia and offered me the box of supplies. I made my first necklace of these supplies and it opened a whole new world of happiness for me. Perhaps his grandpa knew from beyond the grave that his dusty tackle box would change my life. Either way, I'm forever grateful. Now I wander gem and mineral shows like a kid in a candy store shamelessly fondeling strings of stones searching for the perfect energy. Beading is truly a passion for me and I especially love attending local art shows and meeting new people who share my passion and appreciate my work. I also love it when someone finds inspiration in something that I have done and directs me to create a custom piece for them.
