I have been making jewelry for about a year now. I started last Christmas when I felt the urge to handmake gifts for my family. I have had the beading itch ever since and have also started selling my jewelry to friends, family and on Etsy.com.
I created this necklace using Vintaj Brass Co. chain. In a few spots around the chain, I attached wire-wrapped red Czech glass beads for accents. The focal I used is a pewter bird bead from Mamacita Beadworks. I used an eye pin, and off the bottom hook, dangled a brass wire nest that I stuffed […]
I bought this antique key from an antique seller last summer. I finally got the nerve to use it. I attached some dangles of wire-wrapped beads and a SPIRIT charm from Earthenwood Studios, to the handle. The chain is made up of Green jade rectangular tube beads, that are each wire looped to each other […]
This bracelet was fun to make. I received some porcelain beads for Christmas in this Red, Black and White color theme. I dug through my supplies and found many of the little treasures that I put into this piece. I took 3 12″ strands of leather cord, and knotted them around the silver lobster clasp […]
I made this necklace using ceramic focal beads from Earthenwood Studios. The light blues and yellows look amazing with the Vintaj brass. I made a simple chain using faceted chalcedony, and small blue ceramic rounds. I just simply strung the beads on looped wire, attaching them all together with jump-rings. I threw in a few […]
I made this necklace using a ceramic pendant that is handmade by RedCrowArts of Etsy. It is handstamped with a leafy pattern and glazed a beautiful green color. I paired this pendant with gorgeous fancy jasper disc beads, green spotty Czech glass, faceted glass rondelles, and teal blue glass petal beads. On the front of […]
Blue and green stones helped me create the name of this piece. I strung each bead section onto brass wire and did a simple loop to close each end. Each beaded wire section was attached to brass jump-rings. The focal is the brass filigree ring that I attached to the bracelet by wrapping both sides […]
This necklace was inspired by my love of the ocean. Abalone shell pendant with small brass seahorse charm adorns the front. I also used various colored fresh water pearls, and Czech glass beads and then metallic blue/purple seed beads up and around the back of the necklace where it ends at a brass swirl clasp.
