Sylvia Allison, an author, a poet and better known now as Beading Granny, 60 years old, lovingly handcrafts her own uniquely designed jewelry. This is my newfound hobby I have started since my writers' block just this past September 2007. My inspiration comes from all the comments and enjoyment I have seen from those who have bought my work and those whom have received them as gifts.

I found the three leopard print beads in a bag of things from a yard sale – adding the pearls and rust colored beads and made this lovely necklace of the jungle. When I saw the three of them I knew they would find a place on my display stand.

The materials I used were block glass beads of purple animal print and purple oval beads. The pattern reminded me of spots on a cow, and of being on a farm. I for one am a cow lover. I ended this bracelet off with a heart toggle clasp.

This multi-strand piece is one of my favorites. After adding the black, brown and natural beads together it ended up being a triple. I really think the silver spacers and the inside chain set this piece off to be a great necklace. That is my opinion of course!
