Sun Goddess Necklace
I wove a freshwater pearl with golden seed beads to create a rose feature. I used strong fireline to weave the seed beads around the freshwater pearl. I made a circle with the seed beads and then wove the pearl on, then working in rounds I added the petals. Around the rose sit clusters of […]
Purple Moonstone Brooch/Pendant
I got this beautiful purple moonstone from a local cabochon dealer and was nervous about working with it. But after a class by a great friend I was able to bead around it with no problem! I posted the piece on my website as a pin/pendant combo and it was snatched up in no time! […]
Harvest Surprise Beaded Purse
This amulet purse was knit with the artist’s own personal bead soup, called “Shrimp Cocktail”, and mustard yellow thread. The fringes are accented using “Matgama” drops, and a tiny brass faery nests in the central flap fringe. Bag dimensions: Top width: 1 3/4″ Bottom width: 2 1/2″ Length: 2 1/2″ Strap: 26″
Rainbow Bracelet
This bracelet is made with faceted glass beads woven together with fire line. I have used a large 8mm glass bead to hold the bracelet together. This piece is for my step daughter Charlotte who likes to wear pastel clothes and pretty things so hopefully this will compliment a variety of outfits!
Diamond Drop Choker
Three different sizes of glass bicone beads are used, along with gold wire. I also substitute 6mm round or oblong lampwork beads for the center piece on the diamond. This is a fun piece to make and looks great with every outfit, from jeans to formal gowns.
Raspberry Ripple Bracelet
I made this bracelet as I simply like the colour of the glass seed beads. I wanted to use the beads as the main material for the bracelet rather than use them as a connection or surround for larger beads. I used fire line to weave the beads together and 3mm faceted glass beads in […]
Aquamarine Morning And Amethyst Night
One early spring day I was so inspired by the sky that I decided to recreate this picture. I felt like I was working on a painting… First, I made the base for the necklace, using seed and bugle beads. Then, I made two-layered and three-dimensional blossoming full flowers, also using seed beads and bugle […]
Green Man Necklace
I fell in love with this Green Man lampwork bead, from Claire-Louise Patrick of Ciel Creations and wanted to make something that would suggest the abundance of the life cycle he represents. The necklace is in freeform spiral weave using Japanese seed beads with lots of Czech pressed glass leaves with flowers and butterflies and […]
Catherine Cross Choker
A two-needle RAW weave using Swarovski 3mm pearls and Swarovski crystal bicones. The fastening is a beaded 8mm Swarovski pearl. The name is a reference to Catherine the Great, who was patron of the Arts while she reigned in Russia. The cross is a right angle weave exercise taught in Moscow beading schools.
Pink Block Loomed Bead Bracelet
I got this pattern from one of my plastic canvas books. I made this for my neice. It is the first bracelet I have done.
Fall Rhapsody Necklace Set
The idea of this set came to me last fall and was inspired on a very sunny day. It was what we call Golden Fall. First, I weaved the necklace base using vertical netting stitch technique. I used tiny seed Czech beads #12 of amber color. Then I made seven leaves for the necklace and […]
Double-strand DNA Necklace
When I saw a sample of stitching seed beads into the twisted rope called DNA, I had to try it. It’s pretty time-consuming, especially with small #11 seed beads. After many weeks of starting and stopping, this is the result. I added silver spacers, my favorite green triangular beads and a toggle clasp.
