I used pearls in diferent sizes, fish scales, mother of pearl, antique beads, and antique swade leaves. I embroidered all of this onto an antique piece of material.
In the back I used a fine piece of bronze in the same shape, covered by grey velvet, and used some memory wire inside to help keep the shape.
I've been making jewelry for about 2 years and I really love it. I have always enjoyed doing craft projects, making handmade cards, sewing, crocheting and painting. I get inspired by the beautiful colors in nature and in fabrics and textiles. Since I know a few other "crafty" people, I set up a craft co-op website that features their items as well as mine. Every year we donate a portion of our sales to a charity!
