Bead Stringing & Wire Jewelry Ideas , Page 3
Purple and Blue Beaded Necklace
I used purple pearls, metal flowers, dark blue seed beads, and light blue crystals to make this piece. It has a lobster clasp set with crimp beads. I used wire, but beading thread can work too. String the beads in a pattern of two seed beads, then a purple pearl, then a blue crystal, then […]
Buddha Necklace & Earrings
To start the necklace, I cut 3 pieces of beading wire, the first one longer for the focal point of the Buddha. I strung the charm, amazonite 4mm round beads, and bali saucers on the first length of wire and crimped both sides around small round pewter links. The round links are then attached to […]
Summer Necklace
This necklace is made of various Swarovski crystals and silver findings. It is strung on Beadalon 49 .018 silver plated steel wire. I love both of these materials, and I think they suit each other very well.
Mountain Mist Necklace
I love being able to use up leftover beads to create a beautiful eclectic piece. I used gold beading wire to string green agate chips, green glass beads of different shapes and sizes, clear Swarovski bicones, and green metallic seed beads. This is one of my favorite brass clasps, so I had to have it […]
Marrakesh Express Necklace Set
An exotic necklace made of Hickoryite jasper, natural peach jade, red tiger eye, stick pearls and copper over pewter beads and clasp. The necklace is 21 inches long and the matching earrings have grey niobium ear wires. I was inspired by the Hickoryite jasper ovals and everything else fell into place.
Shanghai Rose Necklace Set
This necklace consists of different shades of pink and rose. A Thai silver spiral pendant is the focus and the two strands are composed of Thai silver, crackled mother of pearl, Swarovski crystal and Japanese seed beads. The necklace is finished with a sterling silver toggle clasp and has an overall length of 24 inches. […]
Earthy Delights Necklace
I made this necklace using a ceramic pendant that is handmade by RedCrowArts of Etsy. It is handstamped with a leafy pattern and glazed a beautiful green color. I paired this pendant with gorgeous fancy jasper disc beads, green spotty Czech glass, faceted glass rondelles, and teal blue glass petal beads. On the front of […]
Copper, Wood & Bali Bead Ornate Pendant
The focal drop is a hand crafted lampwork bead that is clear with a copper swirl lining. The necklace includes dark wood round beads, Czech faceted smokey brown beads and some silver coloured metal Bali-like beads, bead caps and hanger to finish. The seed beads are clear dark brown and the bugle beads are metallic […]
Midnight Rendezvous Bracelet
All I wanted with these beads was for the shape and color to take front and center. The puffy triangle shape of the onyx made a beautiful statement. To highlight it’s beauty I used sterling silver beads and two square filigree bead caps. Since this is a fairly weighty piece, I added additional reinforcements by […]
Courage Under Fire Necklace
I used a combination of red coral chips and chunks with cube shaped, black onyx beads, spaced throughout with silver toned spacer beads. This necklace was strung on tiger tail wire. I liked the almost punky look of this piece and the combo of red and black. Finished with a sterling silver toggle clasp. 20″ […]
Blue Crescent Necklace
Very simple and fun piece! I’ve used a tigertail wire base, with no clasps. Inexpensive materials include: blue ceramic disc beads in small and large, tiger eye beads, a dichroic glass pendant, and a few metallic seed beads! Make sure to make the initial strand very long! Good luck!
Shell Necklace and Earrings
This necklace and earring set is made of curly shells, clam puff shells, and 6mm and 4mm green pearls. The findings are silver toggles, headpins and earwires.
Seaside Rendezvous Necklace
I bought the very nice fossilized coral squares first and tried to make them fit with other bead combinations that just weren’t working. I went to a bead show and saw the African opal rondelles and amazonite beads that looked great together and thought of my pretty squares back home. I was delighted that they […]
Angel Chakra Healing Necklace
This piece was made with tiger tail and semi-precious gemstone chips with a low nickel clasp, each colour relates to one of the chakras in the body (energy systems that affect our emotions, mental and physical energies). The crystals used help to balance and align these chakras to infuse you with health, peace and vitality […]
Green Aventurine Pendant Necklace
I have been creatively thinking about how to dress up a plain donut pendant for weeks now and this weekend I finally came up with something new that I really liked that I have not ever seen done anywhere. I got so excited I made 4 new pendant necklaces – spent my entire Sunday making […]
Orange And Blue Swirls Necklace
I wanted to create a piece with bold blues and oranges, a fun color combination I think. I tried a few different pendant ideas which either didn’t sit right on the neck or didn’t work well with the necklace before settling on the pendants in the picture. I used blue 18 gauge wire to create […]
Blue Agate And Labradorite Necklace
My inspiration for this necklace were these large 12x18mm blue agate beads. They are like a cool faceted barrel. I wanted the blue to stand out so I added the leaf-cut labradorite beads with the blue flash to match the blue in the agate. In between each labradorite are 2 glass beads and a clear […]
Autumn Jade Necklace
Inspired by colorful, fragrant, crisp autumn leaves. Large slabs of rich yellow jade, small cream and brown round beads of jasper and oval white potato pearls capture the best of my favorite season! Wire-strung with sterling silver crimps and crimp covers. Secured with a magnificent laced, long-oval sterling silver clasp.
Red Earth Pendant Necklace
Created using sterling silver wire work, exquisite burnt orange agate, fire agate and vintage sterling silver. The agate pendant is wrapped in sterling silver 20 gauge wire. The sterling silver beads are vintage from the 1960’s. The wire wrapped pendant measures 3 inches. Overall length is 20 inches.
Have A Green Day Bracelet
I used all green, white, black glass luster beads, with some gold colored seed beads strung on memory wire coil. I added one charm on each end of the memory wire coil. I loved the colors of the beads and the colors inspired me to make the bracelet.
