Make Love Not War Earrings
Yes, I know… the 60’s are over. But some might say that the era represented not just a time but a mindset… and couldn’t we use a little 60’s mindset right now? I know *I* could. I bought these little stamped brass flower charms awhile ago and the first incarnation featured small blackstone rondelles. This […]
Czech Iris Brown Dangle Earrings
These earrings were designed by myself for my mother-in-law. I used silver plated earwires, silver plated 20 gauge wire, silver plated 3mm balls and Czech Fire Polished Iris Brown 6mm faceted glass beads.
Chrysoprase And Fuchsia Jade Earrings
I wanted to use golden ear wires, but chunky ones rather than the traditional thin gold ones, so I decided to use solid brass. I took thick brass wire and hand formed it into the ear wires, hammered them first flat and then with a specialist hammer to create the texture. I then added small […]
Opalite Skies Earrings
These earrings are made using Opalite briolettes, Hill tribe silver, and Swarovski bicones in Montana AB. Earwires are sterling silver. Wire is 22 gauge half-hard sterling silver wire. Earrings are 1 7/8″ in length.
Queen Of Hearts Valentine Earrings
These earrings are made from wire wrapped rosy colored glass suspended from delicate silver chain. The glass briolettes have facets that catch the light and sparkle. They are finished with simple silver ear wires and measure about 2.75″ long.
Wire Wrapped Crystal Drop Earrings
These are really pretty dangly earrings that are made from Swarovski crystals, Bohemian Czech glass crystals and blue pearl beads. Each bead is individually wrapped with wire to make the fittings to hold it all together. They have great movement, and are very sparkly. I decided to do something a little different with earrings and […]
Blossom Earrings
I made these earrings with pretty powder blue chrysanthemum blossoms which I set on diamond shaped antique brass filigree. I added pale pink Swarovski crystals and a smaller crystal in a rose colour as a dangle below the flower. I attached them with an antique brass headpin. The earrings are set on long antique brass […]
Blue Quartz Earrings
These 10x14mm oval blue quartz beads are faceted to give them some sparkle. Hung from the sterling silver French earwires with a copper headpin and a faceted glass bead gives it a little extra detail. They measure almost 1 3/4″ from top to bottom.
Carnelian Earrings
Carnelian is a beautiful stone! It goes perfectly with copper. Beneath a copper metal connector I hung a gold glass cube, a copper cube, a faceted fire polished amber colored bead and a polished oval carnelian. The colors complement each other beautifully. The beads are strong on decorative headpins and the earrings hang from sterling […]
Halo Peridot Earrings
For a different take on birthstone earrings (August), I decided to make big hoop earrings that are nevertheless surprisingly light to wear. They remind me of a halo which decided me on their name. The hoop is formed out of solid thicker copper wire. It has been hammered flat a bit so that the wire […]
Smoke And Sparkle Earrings
I bought these lovely smoky-sparkly golden crystals awhile ago and was at a loss as to what to do with them. Finally deciding not to overthink it, I added oxidized sterling silver findings and oxidized, stylized, sterling silver handcrafted earwires to them and I loved the way they turned out. Sometimes simple is best!

Mixed Stone Earrings
These earrings were made using a mix of stones: turquoise, jasper and sodalite. I connected them using 18 gauge silver wire. I left a large loop on the end to add 3 hammered pieces of 18 gauge silver wire. I put a small loop at the end of each of the hammered wire pieces to […]
Ceramic Delight
The focal beads for these earrings are ceramic beads that reminded me of some dishes my grandmother used to have. Seed beads and blue glass beads serve to offset the ceramic beads. These are simple drop earrings with the beads strung on headpins and the headpins attached to earwires.
Ivory Pod Earrings
My lampwork beads in this earring pair measures 15x10mm. They are made with a base of black and dotted with ivory and grey suckers. Each sucker is made by placing dots of molten glass around the bead and then poking each one in the middle with a sharp tool while hot. After they were annealed […]
Green Goddess Earring
These are soooo glamorous, a lightweight but eye catching long pair of earrings, great for a special ball or gala occasion. The hoop earwires and heart shaped chandelier hangers are shaped and hammered from wire. At the top hangs a chrysophase mini nugget, next swing the gold heart shapes from fine chain. Under the hearts […]
Victorian Rose Earrings
I have used an antique bronze metal rose in a vintage style for these earrings. The rose has an aged patina and a rhinestone in the centre. I have attached hand wired aged bronze hoops to the bottom of the rose. A lovely white Swarovski pearl dangles from the hoop. I have used antique bronze […]
Angkor Earrings
These earrings were handcrafted using turquoise beads, white glass beads, and silver filler beads. The drops were attached to the exotic looking frames with wire.
Black Coral Earrings
These are dyed coral sticks. Most of my inspiration for my creations come from nature. As these have such an organic look I could not resist them. To give the sticks some elegance I have wrapped the tops with wire and made a loop with which to attach the ear wire.
