Bead Stringing & Seed Beads Necklace Beading Ideas, Page 3
Two Tone Delight Necklace
Berticulated jasper pendant strung on two pieces of accuflex. Used firepolish crystals, jasper, and seedbeads. The pendant inspired me to make the necklace with alternate colors on each side.
Brazen Necklace
I created this necklace by stringing African Blue stones, Blueberry glass, Bronzite, Czech Fire-polished bronze glass beads, and seed beads. This necklace is finished off with an antique silver lobster claw clasp.
Scorpion Necklace
For this necklace I used a cabochon with a real scorpion within. I made the combination with shell pieces, bone beads, miyuki seed beads and beautiful filigree beads. The combination of the different materials and the copper and cream colors give this necklace a friendly instead of a scary look.
Blue Crescent Necklace
Very simple and fun piece! I’ve used a tigertail wire base, with no clasps. Inexpensive materials include: blue ceramic disc beads in small and large, tiger eye beads, a dichroic glass pendant, and a few metallic seed beads! Make sure to make the initial strand very long! Good luck!
Grass Koi Necklace
This necklace was made using Beadalon 49 strand flexible wire and was inspired by the idea of the lush green surroundings of a summer pond. The fish pendant is Hill Tribe Thai silver, and the beads are vintage West German Givre glass, Swarovski crystal, Delica seed beads, Czech glass, and celery colored freshwater pearls. The […]
Ring Of Fire Necklace
This necklace was a challenge to make! I wanted to incorporate strands of cord in with the beads and was unsure how to fasten them all together neatly. I ended up using a 26 gauge wire to bind the cords together, then I stitched seed beads over the wire with thread so the wire wouldn’t […]
Three-strand necklace with stone pendant
The strands consist of copper-tone and magenta seed beads, turquoise beads, silver spacers, E-beads, and my favorite green triangular beads. I approached this necklace like I sometimes approach a quilt project–what “scraps” do I have sitting around?
Blue and Gold Necklace
The necklace consists of three strands of seed beads, E-beads, glass beads and silver coils I shaped with round-nose pliers. The earrings consist of the same elements, although the coils are much smaller.
Emerald Pearl And Torched Copper Necklace
This necklace is really easy to make. On beading wire I strung alternating emerald potato pearls with black seed beads. On each end I used a split ring and on one side is chain for adjustable length and on the other side is a hand made clasp using 20g silver wire. For the pendant I […]
Ethnic Fire Necklace and Earrings
I created this unique piece around these beautiful antique silver connectors. I used 6mm and 8mm bright orange Czech crystals, orange seed beads and different shapes of black glass beads to make charms and attached to connectors. I used 2-toned seed beads on tigertail to emphasize the ethnic look and finished it with a silver […]
Purple Donut Lariat Necklace
This necklace is made with Beadalon stringing wire, seed beads, wood pieces, glass and cat’s eye. It features a medium size purple glass donut as the centerpiece and the end. I was inspired to make this piece because of a beautiful purple flower I saw at Butterfly World. I wanted to make the two sides […]
Green With Envy Necklace
This necklace is one of the most creative pieces that I have made so far. I bought the resin focal bead at my local bead store because I knew the color would be amazing with the Vintaj Brass. I used small brass chain and paired it with a chain made of seed beads in lime, […]
Mix and Match Reversible Beaded Necklace
I had a few larger beads and I did not know what to use them for (my necklaces are usually more delicate). One day the inspiration came in a store catalog–the idea of combining one strand of large beads and six strands of small beads. It is wearable top side down or up. It can […]
Teal & Silver Swirls Necklace
Made with a very pretty (3.8cm, domed with flat back) hand crafted swirled clay pendant that has a glittery finish to it, some silver plated solid metal beads and some very small sterling silver square cut spacers to finish. The silver swirl detailing is made with silver plated wire. The seed beads used are foil […]
Flame Necklace
As I work with an open flame I felt it was appropriate to create a necklace celebrating my passion. In this necklace my handmade lampwork beads, gemstones, and Japanese seed beads are finger woven together with my forged sterling silver pieces suggesting the lick of the flame.
Sea Flower Necklace
This necklace consists of sponge coral and pink coral rounds, pink shell, and seed beads, with a sterling silver toggle clasp.
White And Green Coil Beads Necklace
I just purchased a coil gizmo, and went a little overboard creating coils. I knew I wanted to make a tiered or layer necklace, what I described to myself as a collar. I wanted each layer to more simple as the layers got smaller. The coils are a pristine white, the large beads are silver […]
Beaded Bead Three Strand Necklace
This necklace came about because I absolutely LOVE the size 11 seed bead mix I purchased at my local bead shop. I also learned to bead a bead, using these tiny beads. It’s very labor-intensive, but really worth it. The focal glass bead is beaded with these no. 11 beads, as well as four other […]
Aventurine Cleopatra Necklace
These aventurine beads range in hues of honey, amber, citrine and caramel. Their triangle shapes are varied and lend an interesting feature to a “Cleopatra” look. I finished off the necklace with small aventurine nuggets in the same tonal colors. Tiny honey colored seed beads separate the aventurine beads. I’ve used a vermeil (gold plated […]
Elegance Necklace
This necklace is strung on wire with white glass seed beads, brown, yellow and clear crystal 6mm bicones, with a silver plated toggle closure. My inspiration for this piece was simply to try to match a brown, white & black stripe shirt that I have. I think it gives a great business look for the […]
