Xuelan Hou

After earning her Studio Art BA at Wellesley College, Xuelan began her art journey by working in the art gallery world. She has directed the gallery of Asian Culture Center in New York, published journals in the Oriental Art and Finance Magazine in China and advised several emerging and mid-career Asian artists on their pursuit of careers in the arts in New York City. Though her love of art has never faded, she wanted to continue the excitement in an even more creative environment by becoming a designer and fulfilling her passion for fashion.

Her designs are mainly inspired by the qualities and characteristics of elements of nature, such as trees, blossoms, water, etc. Each piece of jewelry is composed with genuine crystals and gemstones then carefully handcrafted to perfection.
