My favorite summer vacation destination is Hawaii. I just love the color of Hawaiian ocean and that is what I tried to capture with this necklace. For calm ocean, I used different sizes of mother of pearl flat shape beads with round shape one.
I used opal round beads, roundelles and bicones as well as silver parts for sun lights reflecting on ocean. I wanted to give this necklace a softer feel and to create a gentle curve around a neck when a person wears it, so I used a between-beads knotting method with silk cord.
