This is a necklace which tells a story about my family. Our house has a huge California Coastal Redwood tree which we love and is very much part of our life. I loved using amazonite chips because each chip had a slightly different color and a shape. They were perfect for capturing tree leaf effects.
As a focal point of this necklace, I used a metal piece which represents my husband and me, two lovely birds sitting on a branch. Just below a happy bird couple, there are two turquoise beads dangling which represent our two young children. A happy family living on a beautiful tree.
