To make this necklace I used 1 metre of faux suede, roughly 20cms of silver plated curb chain, a variety of silver plated/tibetan silver charms, snowflake obsidian chips, coloured glass beads, 10-20 small jump rings, 1 large jump ring and 1 cord end.
Tools: 2 pairs of long nose pliers, chain cutter and round nose pliers.
Fold the suede in half and apply singular cord end to both. Cut about 5-10 varying lengths of chain and hang from large jump ring which should then be threaded through eye of cord end and closed. Using headpins, create many different sizes and styles of charms then attach them at different points to the chain trying to disperse them evenly and there you have it!
I made this piece by picking the main items that I wanted to include (purple suede, obsidian and silver charms) then choosing other beads and charms to match the theme and colours of items so far.
