This piece combines the earthiness of copper with the elegance of pearls. I created four cooper beads using 20 gauge copper wire (7″ pc.) hand wrapped into two sizes of swirls going in opposite directions with a loop in the middle for beading. One 8mm, several 4mm and 6mm white glass pearls as well as 3mm copper beads were used to create a graduated effected throughout the strand. To finished, two hand wrapped copper swirls (different sizes and opposite directions) were added on either side of the 8mm glass pear to created a focal point. The earrings consist of two 8mm and twenty (10 ea.) 4mm hand wrapped glass pearls dangling over copper swirls.
