Ivory Pod Earrings | The creator of this piece says: My lampwork beads in this earring pair measures 15x10mm. They are made with a base of black and dotted with ivory and grey suckers. Each sucker is made by placing dots of molten glass around the bead and then poking each one in the middle with a sharp tool while hot. After they were annealed and cleaned, they were then wired up with cream colored fluted melons and oxidize corrugated metal rondelles on decorated headpins. | Entire earring, including hook, measures 50mm long (1.875"). Ear hooks are sterling silver, corrugated bead and headpin are not.

About the Artist: Eliza ZelachowskiI have been making jewelry out of beads since the 80's, but making lampwork beads for the past two years. I am self-taught and it is all I can think about, which drives my family crazy. There are many nights where we can't sit at the table and eat for all the bead boxes and materials all over the table.
