Wired Copper Pendant
I discovered this large chunk of solid copper on vacation. I love the richness of color in copper. I think it looks great surrounded by silver as the two compliment each other. Of course this nugget had to be wrapped in wire as there is no hole…I don’t drill…but it was just enough to accent […]
A Marriage In Purple
Purple is one of my husband’s favorite colors and animal print is one my weaknesses. So accidentally dropping a dyed hammer-shell bead next to a piece of purple leather in my workroom made me think the two were meant to marry! I accented zebra print shells, mother-of-pearl nugget shells and hand-cut leather with multi-shaped black […]
Neo-victorian Serpentine And Frosted Glass Necklace
For this necklace I started with a serpentine (new jade) cabochon and put it under a large antique brass hoop. I used a piece of oxidized brass filigree as backing to hold it in place. For accent beads I used a few smaller matching serpentine jade beads and some flat oval beads made of frosted […]
All Reddy To Go
Beautiful and bold necklace with chunks of red coral beads spaced with faux pearl and silver toned accents. Gorgeous with a turtleneck! 32″ long and finished with a barrel clasp. The inspiration for this piece was the need to make a long coral necklace to go with a simple black shirt.
Kaleidoscope Beaded Cuff
Kaleidescope Cuff is a celebration of colour, form and texture. I started off with a brass blank interior and covered this with pink Ultrasuede. I try to avoid using dressed leather as some people are allergic to the dressing. The Ultrasuede has been glued down with industrial strength glue and cut slightly larger than the cuff […]
Ming Tea Necklace
Ming Tea 22″ Necklace and 7 1/2″ braclet take on an ancient age using two imported 900 year old Ming pottery shards delicately framed as the focal beads. I also make 2,000 year old coin jewelry, so found it a treat to find out about the ancient Chinese Ming pottery shards from a artisan friend, […]
Ne-zhoni Toh-yi-kal
Pretty Tears (Ne-Zhoni Toh-Yi-Kal) jewelry set consists of a 27″ Necklace, 7 1/2 bracelet and 3″ drop earrings. My materials are torquoise bead nuggets, ovals, chips and a 22mm focal bead, and contrasted with buffalo bone beads. All accent beads are gold plated, and I use a stainless coated wire to prevent corrosion and add […]
Genuine Leaf Pendant And Earring Set
I love leaves! Fell in love with this pendant instantly and had to have it. It is a genuine leaf that has been set on coconut shell and coated in epoxy. I have added freshwater pearls and antique gold metal accents. I think even though the leaf is green that it is still a wonderful […]
Mackintosh Rose Necklace
This piece’s focal point is a blackstone pendant with a printed design, along with white bone and wood accent beads. The braided strapping is made of black, brown and white leather, with a handmade black wire clasp to finish it off. Black wire is used to tie the beaded sections and leather sections together. The […]
Sterling Silver Mabe Pearl Necklace
Sterling is composed of rich textured silver freshwater pearls laced with silver beads and accented with a large silver plated mabe pearl pendant.
Romantic Amethyst Beaded Necklace
The materials in my piece consist of amethyst colored beads, a beautiful shell pendant with a fantastic sheen and smoothness, a charm to accent the pendant, and to finish the necklace off I used a heart toggle clasp. It was constructed using simple techniques … I simply strung the beads onto a copper wire, and […]
Offering To Pele Necklace
This is a one-of-a-kind necklace made with 3 beads made from real lava from the Hawaiian Islands. I used red acrylic beads to accentuated the black lava. Black and red glass beads continue the trend up to be highlighted with clear and black spatter glass beads. I love the mythology of Pele and what this […]
Heart Of Gold Necklace and Bracelet
I made this necklace and bracelet set for my mother — gold is her favorite color. I wanted to make her something I knew she would really like, and as soon as I saw the heart-shaped glass beads with accents of gold and brown, I was totally inspired. I used gold colored beading wire and […]
Malachite Glass Necklace
This necklace was made of lampworked beads by Mimi from Mimi Art Glass. She creates many styles of jewelry, inluding some remarkable lampworked beads. From Mimi: The ancient Egyptians often used glass beads in jewelry to emulate precious stones. This inspired me to create lampworked beads for this one of a kind necklace that resembled […]
Turquoise And Copper Vines Necklace Set
This set came to be because of a wedding commission. I wanted to practice the tiara with copper before going with silver, and then decided it would make a great choker! The stones are Turquoise briolettes that I wired together as flowers with a Mookaite center. The leaf accents are also Mookaite. I used multiple […]
Nesting Bird Necklace
I created this necklace using Vintaj Brass Co. chain. In a few spots around the chain, I attached wire-wrapped red Czech glass beads for accents. The focal I used is a pewter bird bead from Mamacita Beadworks. I used an eye pin, and off the bottom hook, dangled a brass wire nest that I stuffed […]
Polymer Clay Pendant
This pendant is made of polymer clay with a wire and bead accent. Polymer Clay is a man-made clay that is pliable until baked, at which point it becomes permanently hard. You can make your own beads and creations using polymer clay and bake them in the oven. Polymer clay is available in most craft […]
Copper Wire Spiral Necklace
The ideas for this set came to me in piece meal. It took longer to decide what to do next than it did to actually make it. The beads in this set are Crazy Horse (which I love), and Natural New Jade for accent beads. The wire is copper. All parts, (except for the beads), […]
Moss Agate Circle Gemstone Beaded Necklace

Ocean Waves Bracelet
I am often inspired by my surroundings and living in South Florida definitely had an effect on this one. The handmade lampwork focal was made by me in my home studio in Pompano Beach, FL of Italian soft glass. The bracelet is accented by shell chips and sterling silver.
