The materials in my piece consist of amethyst colored beads, a beautiful shell pendant with a fantastic sheen and smoothness, a charm to accent the pendant, and to finish the necklace off I used a heart toggle clasp. It was constructed using simple techniques … I simply strung the beads onto a copper wire, and used two crimp beads to add the heart toggle clasp.
I've just started hand making jewelry about a week ago, being that I received a few starting materials from my best friend for Christmas. I am now obsessed and constantly making more and more pieces! I like to work with glass and metallic beads, beautiful pendants, and deep and romantic colors. I am inspired by romance and beauty, and undoubtedly these inspirations are reflected in the jewelry that I assemble.
