Grand-plaque Embroidered Necklace
This embroidery necklace is made with cat-eye cabochons, fresh water pearls, Swarovski crystals, and 11/0, 6/0 seed beads. Covered with leather….no toggle. Attached to a spiral rope necklace. I enjoyed making this necklace and it’s going to be hard to let it go. I love all my pieces but this one is my baby!

Mae Necklace With Chrysocalla and Malachite
A strung piece made for my Chinese Malaysian mother-in-law for Christmas 08, this necklace incorporates Thai Silver seed pod beads and toggle, chrysocalla, and malachite chips. The Thai silver components were temporarily stranded in the Bangkok turmoil as the Christmas deadline loomed, so this one is fresh off the beading board – I hope my […]

Hematite Cabochon Necklace
A dear friend gave me some hematite cabochons. Since I love to combine materials, I started looking for different once. I combined the hematite cabs with Swarovski pearl beads, freshwater pearls, different colors Miyuki seed beads, treasure beads, silver colored rings and spacers. I finished it all with three-way silver locker clasp.

This is a beautiful necklace and very simple to design. To make this necklace I took various kinds of beads mixes like glass beads, shells, uncuts, semi-precious, handmade marble glass beads, 4mm glass beads, 11/0 seed beads, bugle beads and some glass flowers. I made two strings of uncut chips, each separated by two black […]

Free Form Peyote Stitch Bracelet

Aventurine Gemstone Bracelet
This amazing gemstone beaded bracelet features green aventurine gemstone chips, copper glass seed beads, and a beautiful 1 3/4″ rhyolite gemstone in the center that I have surrounded in sterling silver beads. This bracelet is designed with a toggle clasp and measures 7 1/2″ in length.

Seahorse Beaded Necklace
This necklace was inspired by my love of the ocean. Abalone shell pendant with small brass seahorse charm adorns the front. For this 3-strand necklace I started with the faceted oval 10x14mm blue opal stones and added cube-shaped blue opals with light turquoise and darker foiled turquoise colored seed beads. The three strands are 18 1/2″, 20 1/2″ and 21″ in length (including the clasp). The clasp is a metal 3-strand hook with little flowers for […]

This has been a work in progress for a while – the links and pendant were a natural pairing – the strung portion took a while of thinking to find the right solution. The circles are brushed aged brass, and the transparent pendant bead and matching nugget beads are raku glass. The strung portion is […]

Royal Renaissance Necklace
I was an avid fan of HBOs “The Tudors” and never missed an episode. Besides being entertaining (if not 100% historically correct) I loved the costumes and jewelry. I created this piece from wire shaped into small, medium, and large flower bases then added seed and vintage/new beads to each flower. I worked on this […]
