Jewelry Ideas Using Bronze
Jacqueline Necklace
This necklace features 4 strands, each unique, but layer together beautifully. I used one of my favorite color combinations…bronze and turquoise. I made two of the strands more of a random look with seed beads, freshwater pearls, crystals, and turquoise. One strand has a regular pattern of turquoise and copper beads. The final strand holds […]
Antique Turquoise Collar
I made this antique turquoise piece using 2 sizes of round turquoise beads. You may use from 8mm for the smaller ones and 20mm for the big ones to have this effect. I use wire wrapping technique for each dangle with bronze eye pins to get that antique effect that would match the spider veins […]
Turquoise Wrist Wrap
The main materials used in this unique bracelet is 8 mm turquoise magnesite stones and bronze leather cord. I started by using the leather cord, making two strands, then I started weaving the stones between the two strand cord so that the bracelet will be wrapped three times around the wrist. Finally, I attached a […]
Wine Glass Charm
These are easy to make and make great gifts. Most people really like them. You will need: Fringe Beads – about 40 or 50 per charm in the varying colors of grapes (purple, blue, green, gold, red, etc.). Leaf Beads – 2 per charm approximately 10 mm (you can also use leaf pendant style beads […]
A White Dream
I used pearls in diferent sizes, fish scales, mother of pearl, antique beads, and antique swade leaves. I embroidered all of this onto an antique piece of material. In the back I used a fine piece of bronze in the same shape, covered by grey velvet, and used some memory wire inside to help keep […]
Maya Czech Glass Bracelet
I love flowers so I am always motivated to use flowers in my jewelry pieces. For this bracelet, I wire wrapped this amazing blue Czech glass beads and linked it to a couple of frosted blue acrylic flowers, which I have wire wrapped onto an antique bronze filigree flower connector. I secured it with a […]
Brass Circles Necklace
This has been a work in progress for a while – the links and pendant were a natural pairing – the strung portion took a while of thinking to find the right solution. The circles are brushed aged brass, and the transparent pendant bead and matching nugget beads are raku glass. The strung portion is […]
Zoe Beaded Necklace
Using 3 Swarovski square crystals, and Toho & Miyuki seed beads, this necklace is made with five beadweaving stitches and a lot of patience! The necklace part is Russian Spiral, while the pendant is beaded crystals and Russian leaves. The fastening is a peyote toggle & loop. I have made this in three colours, but […]
Turquoise and Aqua Necklace
This 2 strand bead necklace weaves in and out of itself. It is strung with turquoise and aqua seed beads with metallic bronze and pressed glass beads.
Bronze Age Earrings
These earrings were created with bronze wire using a special technique called “Gizmo”. For this technique you need a special instrument, I call it “Gizmo carousel” which makes it easier to make the spirals. I have also done several necklaces with combination of the spirals and beads. It is very easy but elegant and impressive.
Pearl, Shell, Crystal & Cats Eye Necklace
This exquisite piece is the essence of summer. Warm, glittery and soft. It consists of four strands of bronze Swarovski pearls, golden shadow Swarovski crystals, cattlehead beige shell and taupe cat’s eye with a touch of brown bugle beads. Necklace is 18″ with 1″ sterling silver chain extender. Sterling silver hook clasp.
Belle Azure Earrings
I like simple hoop earrings, but in creating my version, I wanted to tweak the simplicity of their design with an unexpected element. So I hand cut, fused and hammered bronze metal clay rings and hung turquoise gemstone beads off of them to add the extra edge and pop of color I was looking for.
Handmade Brown Swirl Beads And Pearls Necklace
I just love the handmade clay beads in this necklace. They are a combination of brown, tan, and white. I combined them with freshwater pearls and antique silver spacers that have a slightly bronze cast to them which makes them coordinate very well. The necklace measures 15 and one half inches long with a lobster […]
Hippy Chick Necklace
I used a Bronze Metal Clay pendant by Summers Studio, lengths of brass chain, and an assortment of Czech glass beads, leaves, and flowers. I wanted to make something airy, fun, and a little playful without it being too girly-girl. It can be worn with jeans and a t-shirt or a blouse and a long, […]
Palatial Bib Necklace
This necklace contains Czech cristals, velvet for the cordon, and size 11 and 15 seed beads. I added seed bead fringe with nylon thread to the velvet for the neck side cordon. For the main part I used eyepins which I ran through chain to form the structure. I used beading glue to affix the […]
Just Beachy Sea Glass Bracelet
After finding these perfectly round, vintage sea glass beads while shopping for supplies, I knew I had to incorporate them into a fun jewelry design for the summer. Because of their size (12mm), I immediately thought of a bracelet. To enhance the colors of the beads, I created a simple color pattern, detailed with just […]
Wrapped Bracelet
For this bracelet I used 4mm Czech glass beads I bought at a bead show, bronze-colored leather and Griffin silk thread. The button used was purchased from a store that was going out of business. The bracelet wraps around the wrist one time. This was my first attempt at making a wrapped bracelet.
Brazen Necklace
I created this necklace by stringing African Blue stones, Blueberry glass, Bronzite, Czech Fire-polished bronze glass beads, and seed beads. This necklace is finished off with an antique silver lobster claw clasp.
Lock And Key Beaded Earrings
The materials that went into this piece consist of eyepins, glass beads, lock and key charms, miscellaneous charms, and bronze fishhooks. It was assembled quite simply. The beads were assembled onto the eyepins, the miscellaneous charm was then attached to the bottom of the eyepin, and the key and lock charms were attached to the […]
Victorian Rose Earrings
I have used an antique bronze metal rose in a vintage style for these earrings. The rose has an aged patina and a rhinestone in the centre. I have attached hand wired aged bronze hoops to the bottom of the rose. A lovely white Swarovski pearl dangles from the hoop. I have used antique bronze […]
