These earrings are individually hand painted on watercolor paper, then coated with acrylic medium. Using my cat as the model for this particular piece, I laid out my little squares of watercolor paper that I had cut up from a large sheet. Then I painted each eye in an abstract manner, which I love to do. I finished it up with earring findings.

I earned a B.A. in fine art from the University of New Orleans. I love painting landscapes and found objects and have for many years; I began making painted jewelry almost 2 years ago.
