These aventurine beads range in hues of honey, amber, citrine and caramel. Their triangle shapes are varied and lend an interesting feature to a “Cleopatra” look. I finished off the necklace with small aventurine nuggets in the same tonal colors. Tiny honey colored seed beads separate the aventurine beads. I’ve used a vermeil (gold plated […]
Orange is in this summer in New Zealand. I love orange, and I feel very fortunate to have created this piece with my own beads combined with my favourite technique which is wire work. I made the base of the bracelet with size 6 seed beads, it took me 4 hours to create this piece […]
Very simple choker but I really like it. These are orange clay beads, I think 10mm spaced with 4mm black beads. It’s attached in the back with a simple toggle clasp and a piece of silver plated chain. The crimp beads at the ends are covered with silver bead caps. This necklace looks great.
This was one of the first pieces of jewellery I ever made. I had a pretty shell heart piece that I wanted to base my bracelet around and went from there. Using a variety of glass beads in amber, gold and brown shades I created a charm bracelet on antique chain. This is one of […]
This necklace is made with a variety of colorful Swarovski Austrian crystals, pink, orange and yellow fiber optic cat’s eye beads, a variety of faceted fire polished crystals, disc shaped glass beads and much more. I also added silver hearts and silver bead accents throughout. I made the bracelet adjustable so the length is 7 […]
These earrings feature colorful orange, red and blue polka dot lampwork beads. I accented them with solid blue lampwork beads, red coral beads, sterling silver spacer beads and small round sterling silver beads. They measure approximately 2 inches from the top of the sterling silver earwire.
This longer length necklace set is made with lots of amber Czech pressed glass beads, some amber lampwork rounds and lots of silver coloured metal Bali-like beads to finish. The seed beads used are foil lined amber as are the bugle beads. All mounted on nylon cords and silver plated wire. Fastening to the back […]
Hearts don’t have to be pink! This unique necklace was designed with a stunning large gold heart focal glass bead that has a black and cream swirl design. I added gold foiled glass seed beads, matching yellow crystals and black Swarovski Crystals along with gold plated nugget beads.
Inspired by colorful, fragrant, crisp autumn leaves. Large slabs of rich yellow jade, small cream and brown round beads of jasper and oval white potato pearls capture the best of my favorite season! Wire-strung with sterling silver crimps and crimp covers. Secured with a magnificent laced, long-oval sterling silver clasp.
These earrings are made up of bright orange carnelian rondelles, wire wrapped to a thin chain, with chunky, faceted lemon yellow chalcedony briolettes wrapped at the bottom. All the metal used in these earrings is gold filled and they hang about one and a half inches long from the bottom of the earwires.
Created using sterling silver wire work, exquisite burnt orange agate, fire agate and vintage sterling silver. The agate pendant is wrapped in sterling silver 20 gauge wire. The sterling silver beads are vintage from the 1960’s. The wire wrapped pendant measures 3 inches. Overall length is 20 inches.
I wanted to make something that makes a statement, so I used a large textured bronze pendant and attached three strands of small beads on one side, and one strand of larger beads on the other side. I added a few charms to the pendant and finished it with a bronze chain and toggle clasp […]
This necklace was inspired by one of my favorite orange-y colors (even my car is this color!). I had the flat beads, round beads and heart lying around and they just finally came together. Clear pony beads act as spacers. The dangly charms are on silver headpins and I used silver wire to string it […]
I placed a tumbled light blue onyx stone amidst a mix of beads in the shades of autumn. I feel the deep color of the orange compliments the browns and yellows well. I love that this piece seems to fall a new way each time it’s worn. A necklace like this has been running through […]
I wire wrapped these hand-formed, hammered and polished hoops with very thin and soft 28g copper wire and gemstones (carnelian and labradorite) in a random order with other pieces and spirals added. They look a bit extra-terrestrial, hanging from big hand made loop ear wires that are wire wrapped with additional labradorite “stars”. I use […]
This bracelet is made of clusters of wire wrapped fire agate rondells along with three fire agate cylindrical beads, two rectangle fire agates and Gemini zodiac charms which are attached to a metal chain. I used an S hook so adjusting this bracelet is easy. You can just hook it into any chain link. Maximum […]
This is a 19 inch 3 strand necklace with sodalite beads and brickstone beads with silver spacers. The contrast between the two colors is stark, which I think is part of the appeal. I was aiming for a southwestern look when I designed it, with the silver, reddish-brown, and blue combination. Because the colors are […]
The inspiration for this piece was a large, green, carved jade pendant. I’ve been trying for a while to use this pendant in a simple but elegant setting. Done in shades of gold, orange and bright spring green, this necklace uses chunky millefiori beads surrounded by gold-plated hoops. The smaller round green beads are glass […]
This jasper pendant was so beautiful that I wanted to use it in a necklace that would frame it well. The bright orange and dark orange metal beads woven in with the smaller copper ones created exactly the effect I was looking for–bright, vibrant, and pretty. It measures 18 inches and combines glass orange rounds, […]
