I had gone to a gem shop and found these wonderful stone beads that I thought would make great focal beads for a bracelet. I used memory wire.I mixed different fire polished beads and crystals and a few spacers. I loved the color combinations.
The end beads are glued on as I do not like the bent end that is often suggested for memory wire.
I love the way you finished the ends! My memory wire has been growing old in my beading stuff just because I disliked the other end options so much! Would you mind telling me what sort of glue you used??? Thanks, and keep making such pretty things!
HI Wendi, I use E6000. It is an industrial glue that I find provides a strong and lasting bond. It can be purchased at most craft stores and my local Walmart also carries it. You can purchase it in a large or small tubes. If you secure the top well and place it in a plastic bag after use, it will not dry out or thicken with age. Happy beading..
How were you able to get such a large bead onto the memory wire? I’ve tried with even smaller beads and they become stuck! Will not go around the curve of the memory wire. I am fascinated to know how it was done.
Thank you.
