I love anything Egyptian. Some of the pieces I design will have a hint or full inspiration of this beautiful civilization. This bib-style necklace took just a little time to make as I did the measurements freehand. I wanted it to lay gradually with the focal point being the etched brass pendants with matte gold speckled lapis as the center piece.
This part was to emulate an Egyptian eye. This necklace is comprised of lapis, hammered brass coins, etched brass pendants AB Swarovski crystal talons, and ruby red round faceted crystals. For strength, I reinforced the center strand of the necklace by placing the pendants on solid brass wire. The end result is this lovely Egyptian piece that puts me in the mind of Cleopatra on one of her leisure days.
